The band has gone through many line-up changes since its conception in 1976; (William swears he started as a young child, honest!), William has remained the driving force of the band. Born in Melbourne , Australia , is one of the finest pipers in Australia, if not the World, today. Grant evolved from the Australian Pipe Band scene to join Claymore on the Celtic circuit. He is a multi-skilled musician who masters the guitar, bagpipes and bohdrahn.

Born in Melbourne , Australia , is one of the finest lead guitarists in the music world. Michael's accomplishments include a long playing career with Colleen Hewitt and a hit single "Winner" with the 80's rock group, Atlantis. Michael is equally at home on the mandolin and is a very accomplished singer.

Born in Melbourne , Australia , Lindsay's accolades include a successful career with The Sole Twisters and The Rattling Sabers, who wrote Pat Benatar's smash hit, "All Fired Up". He is a master of the bass guitar and drives Claymore's Celtic heart beat.

Craig’s diverse study of percussion developed a wealth of knowledge in Rock, Jazz, Latin, Pipe and Military bands. As a performer & teacher he has received world wide recognition for his unique skills & style. Craig has performed locally & internationally for more than 20 yrs, with top places in Australian & World Drumming Championships.

Born in the Philippines and raised in Canberra , Australia , Mick was invited to fill in on drums for Craig while injured and has been with Claymore for more than six years now! He gained his fame in Australia as the Powerhouse drummer with, ” Paris Calling” and has a style and a class all his own. Once Claymore heard him they knew he was right for the band and couldn’t let him go.
